Summary:In the last few years, the use of electric scooters in Bulgaria has increased significantly. Along with the positives, this has also led to some road safety issues. Road traffic safety and the expert investigation of accidents are particularly relevant for Bulgaria now. This work presents modern results on the longitudinal dynamics parameters of electric scooters, obtained in real road conditions. Such information is missing in Bulgarian literature. The results obtained on the accelerations and decelerations of these vehicles can be very useful in investigating the possibilities of preventing traffic accidents.
