Summary:First, the diversity analysis method based on Boolean approximation is proposed when a polar-codeword is transmitted over multiple fading blocks. Using the analysis tool, the decoding diversity order for polar codes and fading channel mapping can be evaluated and the fading block bit allocation can be optimized. Then we propose a novel interleaving method that achieves full diversity at rate 0.5 for the two-fading-block case. The proposed interleaving method outperforms conventional interleavers including the triangular interleaver of 5G new radio in terms of the full diversity rate.
