Summary:In this paper, we present the three different waveguide port position (x, y, z) with a necessary change of boundary condition for each configuration for a new metamaterial shape multi character and compare their S 21 obtained using Microwave Studio simulation software CST. Our proposed unit cell structure is simulated in the frequency band [1-20 GHz]. The characteristics of the double rectangle unit cell are studied with the Rogers substrate RO3006 with relative permittivity ε r = 6.15 and loss tangent tgδ=0.002 and of thickness h of 1.28 mm. The total size of our proposed unit cell is 6 × 6mm 2 . The cell designed will cover the C, X and Ku bands, which approves him to have a positive impact on the satellite communications.
