Summary:In conditions of high rates of scientific and technological progress and digital development, the question of compliance of existing competencies of technical specialists with the requirements of a new technological order is relevant. The article is devoted to substantiating the need to modernize higher engineering education based on new learning tools and technologies, including the gamification method. It is proposed to use the game situation for the development of universal and general professional competencies of engineering students in evaluating the effectiveness and management of technical projects. The solution to the problem is to develop a gamification algorithm, stages and conditions of the game procedure for evaluating the synergy of project effectiveness based on the integrated expert method.
