Summary:Due to its detrimental effects on both human health and the environment, air pollution has become a major worldwide concern. Wireless sensors have emerged as a promising solution for monitoring and preventing air pollution. This article summarizes research on air pollution prevention using wireless sensors. This work examines the difficulties in monitoring and preventing air pollution. As a result of the exponential rise in the prevalence of various diseases, there is an ever-increasing concentration of pollutants in the atmosphere. This makes use of numerous wireless sensor nodes to track the concentration of pollutants in different places and electronically transmit the data to the host. Utilizing machine learning techniques, a forecasting model is also created to provide a notion of the air quality index for the foreseeable future. The user can then easily grasp the air quality owing to the data visualization on a platform for a mapping service.
