Summary:In this paper, we apply the vector radiative transfer method for real-time chaff cloud simulation. The chaff cloud created by an aircraft, called the chaff corridor, is analyzed. In order to consider the time flow, the orientation distribution of the chaff clouds is modeled by referring to the actual experimental results. As a result of analyzing the chaff clouds, the vertically polarized radar cross-section changed according to the change in the orientation distribution of the chaff cloud. The computation time was measured as an average of 0.583 seconds for the 3.1 million chaffs.
