Summary: | The contribution of this paper is to propose a higher order mode generation for gyrotron using fundamental mode. The proposed structure aerates two higher order modes - \text{TE}_{6,2} and TE 10,1 because their first kind of Bessel function values is almost equal. The \text{TE}_{6,2} mode is very useful for gyrotron amplification, whereas \text{TE}_{10,1} is an undesired higher-order mode. We suppressed the TE 10,1 mode by properly loading high conductive wire. |
