Summary: | A rectangular concentric strip antenna designed for Internet of Things (IoT) applications operating in the 867 MHz frequency band is detailed in this paper. Antenna plays a major role in IoT applications as they enable wireless communication between devices. The size of the designed antenna is 15 x 15 x 0.8 mm 3 in FR4 substrate which is very compact Within the designated frequency band, the proposed antenna has a reflection coefficient of -38 dBi with bandwidth 6 MHz. This work also covers the frequency spectrum allocated for Internet of Things devices, achieving a good S 11 parameter at the centre frequency of 867 MHz. |
