Summary:This article describes the operating principle and provides an algorithm for the numerical calculation of an induction-resistive heating system, taking into account the magnetization reversal of steel (hysteresis) and the interaction of the electromagnetic field with a multilayer conductive medium of induction-resistive heating. resistive heater, on the basis of which a program for calculating the characteristics of the induction-resistive heating system IRSN PRO was developed. Using the program, comprehensive studies of the electrical and energy parameters of an induction-resistive heating system are presented depending on the inductor current and heating temperature. A nonlinear equivalent circuit of an induction-resistive heating system and a mathematical description of the equivalent circuit parameters for designing a power source are proposed.
