Summary:Spaceborne SAR payload test on the ground is an important method to evaluate the On-orbit performance of the satellite, with the massive increase of the sampling data of the geosynchronous orbit SAR, the demand for the efficiency and simplify the test system is gradually growing. In this paper, a novel method for the echo simulation and imaging for the SAR payload test on the ground with a fixed delay echo signal is proposed, which can greatly shorten the test time and improve the test efficiency. The experimental results show that this method can realize the evaluation of point target imaging results for the real echo of GEO SAR with a fixed delay test system. It has high practical value for the SAR payload test.
