Summary:Aircraft movement affects the use of the Apron facility, namely setting up the Parking Stand area during airport operating hours. The use of Parking Stands so far has accumulated on certain Parking Stands, this is because these Parking Stands are often used for the reason that they are located close to the arrival entrance and also some have Aviobridges. In this case, a simulation is needed to help management determine the effectiveness of using all parking stands so that management can make decisions to arrange parking stands so that the use of parking stands can be evenly distributed. The simulation is run based on a real system that has been verified and validated. The simulation results show that the average utility percentage value is 16.232%, which means the value is very low. This is because the available 24 parking stands are only used for 27 flight activities in 1 working day. Based on the results of the research, alternative proposals were proposed to optimize the use of Parking Stands, namely by increasing the number of flight activities at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport, where alternative proposal 2 was carried out by adding flight activities in 1 working day to 70 aircraft. The results of Proposal 2 show that the percentage of the average utility of the Parking Stand is 46.175%, this indicates an increase in the utility of each Parking Stand and a more equitable use of Parking Stands.
