Summary:In order to further promote the efficient and green development of livestock industry, it is an important development trend to build a smart farming system based on data mining. In this paper, fuzzy clustering and random forest prediction algorithm were introduced into the energy consumption prediction of cattle growth in livestock farms. The fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm can identify the factors with high correlation according to the membership size between various variables and the growth energy consumption load. The input space is reconstructed according to the membership size of each component to reduce the input of the prediction algorithm. Then random forest artificial intelligence algorithm was used to predict the growth energy consumption of different livestock cattle. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed method is discussed with a specific example of a livestock farm.
