Summary:This paper describes the perspective application of modern topologies for 25kV/50Hz traction catenary, which are more suitable relating to modern tractions substations requirements. The first part of this paper is dedicated to possible topologies allowing the cooperation into common load and the resulting properties and for control requirements. Phasor diagrams are shown for subsequently assumed circuit of simulated model. The following part describes the mathematical model of traction grid, based on the equivalent circuit, used for analyzation of designed control structure. The number of traction substations is limited to three and each that power supply point has an autonomous droop control structure and works individual based on information of output voltage and current, used for active and reactive power calculation.
