Summary:This paper explores the modeling of multidimensional processes, signals and images. It provides a review of literature relevant to this scientific area, as well as a comparative analysis of methods for modeling multidimensional random fields was carried out. The harmonic simulation method which can be considered a subtype of the spectral method is presented. Examples of the use and prospects for the development of simulation multidimensional signals in hybrid real-time artificial intelligence systems are given.
