Summary: | In order to match the load characteristics of aeronautical starter-generator with turbine engine (ASGTE) to improve the success probability of ignition starting, this paper proposes a method based on digital reduced order model (ROM) to study the ignition starting control characteristics of ASGTE. Taking a high-temperature ASGTE as the research object, firstly, the Maxwell is used to scan the position current of ASGTE to obtain a high-precision equivalent circuit extraction digital ROM. Then, the equivalent model of vector controlled permanent magnet synchronous starter-generator system is established in Twin Builder's multi physical field simulation platform to obtain the nonlinear load characteristics of ASGTE, which the mechanical inertia module and user-defined function load module are also combined in the simulation model. The proposed method can realize the simulation calculation of the whole ignition process for the vector controlled ASGTE in the high-temperature environment, and obtain the key data in the starting process, which improves the ignition success probability of ASGTE. The simulation results are compared with the experimental results to verified the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
