Summary:In this paper we evaluated the performance of a reconfigurable intelligent surface tested with a fifth generation signal provided by a commercial fifth generation base station in a real life scenario. For measurements we adopted the reverberation chamber facility to reproduce real life propagation environments. Tests were conducted at the millimeter wave frequency range. This measurement campaign was carried out under the H2020 European project RISE-6G and a collaboration program between TIM S.p.A., Nokia and Università Politecnica delle Marche.
