Analysis of surface subsidence in coal mining area of Jiaozuo City based on radar images

In this paper, 12 Sentinel-1 radar data, and 90-m resolution digital elevation model (DEM) data were used to monitor the surface subsidence in Jiaozuo area by SBAS-InSAR (Small Baseline Subset) analysis, and the surface subsidence map of Jiaozuo area between April 2020 and March 2021 was obtained. Summary:In this paper, 12 Sentinel-1 radar data, and 90-m resolution digital elevation model (DEM) data were used to monitor the surface subsidence in Jiaozuo area by SBAS-InSAR (Small Baseline Subset) analysis, and the surface subsidence map of Jiaozuo area between April 2020 and March 2021 was obtained. During the period of 2020.4-2021.3, two areas were monitored for significant subsidence, with the maximum subsidence of 50 mm, and the location where the maximum subsidence occurred was in the old coal mining area in the east of Jiaozuo. It provides a reference for urban planning, land development and utilization in Jiaozuo area.
