Summary:We have considered the features of DVB-T2 synchronous network operation and present results of an experimental study of broadcasting network in the Yaroslavl region of the Russian Federation. After adjusting the necessary parameters of a single-frequency network of three transmitters, it was revealed that not all set-top boxes decode the signal correctly. Based on measurements using the created laboratory setup, a number of digital TV set-top boxes that do not provide the quality of DVB-T2 signal reception in synchronous networks were determined. Residents of these local areas received recommendations on the preferred types of receiving equipment used.
