Summary:This study discusses the mechanism for exchanging garbage bottle to get stickers for suroboyo bus that are less efficient and effective and still using ticket or card for ride suroboyo bus. The existing mechanism is not efficient, paperless, not good integration between all parties that involved, and it is not relevant with the digital era. In this paper we proposed a new digital application approach of garbage transaction for suroboyo bus. The trial subjects in this study were Dinas Kebersihan dan Ruang Terbuka Hijau Kota Surabaya, Dinas Perhubungan Kota Surabaya, Suroboyo Bus Helper, Surabaya area Waste Bank, and Suroboyo Bus Passenger. Garbage transaction process are passenger find the nearest garbage bank in the maps, exchange the garbage and get sticker according to the garbage that they were exchanged. The application made consists of two applications including mytrash, gettrash. The mytrash application is used by passengers to exchange the garbage to the Waste Bank and get a sticker on the Suroboyo Bus. The gettrash application is used by garbage banks to receive bottle trash from passengers and provide stickers to ride the Suroboyo Bus. These two applications will be integrated with each other to run a garbage transaction mechanism more efficiently in accordance with current technological advancements. The results from all trial subjects of the study show that the two applications are made more effective to help the mechanism of garbage transactions to get a sticker on the Suroboyo Bus, innovative, helpful, paperless, and relevant with the digital era.
