Summary:The results of the analysis of the autodyne response of microwave oscillators, which are under the influence of both their own microwave radiation reflected from the target and the signal from an external oscillator, are presented. The basic relations for the analysis of the autodyne response are obtained under the condition of asynchronous external influence when the oscillator is in the regime of quasi-harmonic beats. The signal characteristics of the autodyne were calculated. Experimental data were obtained on the Ka-band Gunn-diode oscillator. There is showed the oscillograms of the autodyne signals obtained at the output of the amplitude detector for the cases of the beat signal frequency appears 5 MHz and 0, 2 MHz.
