Summary:The paper describes the main methods of energy utilization of biomass, as the main source of energy when using local resources. Methods of obtaining solid, gaseous and liquid bio-fuel are considered. An approach is proposed for the efficient use of associated gases and low-debit gas fields to obtain pyrolytic carbon, unique in its characteristics. The method of using "extra" electricity is considered, which is especially important for the energy system of the Magadan region.
