Summary: | It is known fact that population outburst is causing concern in the modern world. This has resulted in unavoidable demand for energy. Major sources of production of energy are from thermal/oil power plant. . The thermal power plants have major emissions of Cox, NOx, which are the air pollutants and are known to have a PM of 2.5 which could be hazardous to human health. Secondly it is evident from Hubert's curve that people have extracted the natural resources at increased rate in comparison to discovery of new reserves. Hence to save resources, inculcating renewable energy sources becomes inevitable. Over the year's penetration of renewable sources have increased by a significant amount. This is due to development in novel technologies and fall in prices of the materials associated with RES. But the traditional systems were designed keeping in view conventional energy sources. So the impact of increased PV penetration on power system stability is studied in this paper using MATLAB/Simulink. |
