Summary:the coastal zone is a zone where the ocean and the land meets, which is also the "life belt" of today's human social and economic development. Due to the impact of global climate change, the ecological environment of the coastal zone is seriously threatened. This paper briefly describes the corresponding regulations of ecological coastal management at home and abroad, and summarizes the relevant engineering technologies of ecological coastal construction. It is hoped to provide a reliable basis for the vigorous development of ecological coastal construction projects, thus further promoting marine ecological civilization in coastal areas construction. By summarizing the technical means commonly used in the practice of ecological coastal construction projects at home and abroad in recent years, it is proposed that the future ecological coastal construction technology should focus on the following aspects: 1) ecological coastal protection technology; 2) artificial protection technology; 3) landscape construction and protection technology; 4) Ecological engineering technology.
