Summary:A dual band energy harvesting scheme using nested ELC resonator based metasurface is presented in this paper. The metasurface acts as an electromagnetic energy absorber at two different frequencies and the absorbed energy is channeled to a resistor which can act as effective load/rectifier circuit in practical scenario. Simulation results shows more than 90% absorption by the unit cell and 80% power dissipation across the resistor at both the frequencies. Proposed metasurface based energy harvester circuit is designed and simulated in a FEM based commercial electromagnetic solver. Fabrication of the prototype is currently under progress. Measured results will be presented during the conference.
