Summary:With the rapid development of China's economy, the demand for electricity has grown rapidly, leading to an urgent need for demand sides to participate in power responses. At present, researches on demand response (DR) mainly focus on industrial and commercial users, but few on household users. However, household energy consumption accounts for a high proportion of demand sides and has great potential for development. Therefore, this paper proposes a strategy for DR of households based on communities. First, the concept of household clustering is put forward, in which households are aggregated into communities they belong to for management, and a response mechanism is designed for households. Second, a response function is proposed to quantify the potential of DR of households. Then, a strategy for DR of households is designed which takes both completion rate and user experience into account. Finally, three specific indexes for evaluating DR strategies are proposed and an example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
