Summary:Mold design is one of the core skills for students major in mold design and manufacturing. In this paper, augmented reality (AR) system is introduced to teach students on the acquisition of mold inner structure design. The AR teaching system can be deployed in mobile terminals such as intelligent mobile phone or pad, at which the students can rotate and scale the three dimensional (3D) models, read explanatory notes and play the voice illustrations.
