Summary: | A singular value decomposition-based velocity tracking control system is proposed to the multi-DOF WECs. For estimating the wave excitation force a linear extended state observer is employed here to promote the efficiency of generating the optimal reference velocity of WEC buoy. Based on the proposed control scheme the power take-off will generate appropriate control input to drive the WEC's buoy to operate at the specified speed, thus maximizing the performance benefit of the WEC's power generation. |
