Summary:Improved precision, dexterity and stability to medical or surgical processes have been achieved through robotic technologies. In this paper the objective is to design a model of robotic arm mechanism, implementation of a LabVIEW-based stepper motor control and the composition of the control system using Arduino as a controller. A graphical simulator is designed to mimic the human arm simultaneously with the mechanical robot arm. This is expected to improve the accuracy and simplicity in control. The joints of the robot arm are linked with number of stepper motors that move independently. And the controlling actions of the arm are managed through the software LabVIEW.
