Summary:The research of overflow valve character always focuses on damping hole or gap between valve body and spool, in defect of analysis of entry hole. Taking example of self-oscillatory problem of overflow valve during batch production for, this paper studies the effect of entry aperture and its shape to overflow valve character especially stability. First, making use of lumped parameter, it analyses and calculates entry aperture, and simulates the overflow valve entry model with flow field software according to practicable work condition. It is obvious that the overflow valve entry hole impacts its stability and noise within the range of pressure by changing entry aperture or its shape. Finally, by assembling feeding cannula to changing the overflow valve entry aperture, it is proved that the theoretical research is correct. The solving for the problem has not only made debug percent of pass of the overflow valve from 20% to 100% during batch production for but also caused theoretical research for overflow valve up to a high level.
