Mass-production of terahertz devices
We fabricated a terahertz (THz) polarizer and a bandpass filter using an industrial roll-to-roll press to print silver nanoparticle ink onto polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The functionality of these devices has been studied with THz time domain spectroscopy. By adding a second layer, the performa...

Summary: | We fabricated a terahertz (THz) polarizer and a bandpass filter using an industrial roll-to-roll press to print silver nanoparticle ink onto polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The functionality of these devices has been studied with THz time domain spectroscopy. By adding a second layer, the performance of the printed devices has been improved. We have shown that this fabrication method can be used for the mass-production of THz devices at affordable price. |
