Summary:The paper discusses application of multi-branch equivalent model employing Cauer circuits for analysis of electromagnetic transducers. The effectiveness of proposed approach has been demonstrated on the example of analysis of a wireless power transmission system (WPTS) performance. A method of formulating an equivalent model of the system using the 'reduced' field model, optimization algorithms and equivalent first and second order Cauer circuits has been proposed. A comparative analysis of the calculation results obtained on the basis of the proposed equivalent model (EqM) and the detailed finite element model (FEM) field model have performed. The selected results of simulation calculations are presented and discussed.
