Summary: | Most of existing end-element extraction algorithms only use spectral information of image and treat data as spatially disordered spectral vectors, which make insufficient usage of spatial information of image. Therefore, PPI-AMEE algorithm proposed in this article combines design ideas of AMEE algorithm and PPI algorithm that is used to define expansion and corrosion operations in mathematical morphology. Moreover, purest pixel is found by accumulating PPI index of each pixel within structural element. Experimental results show that end element extraction accuracy of PPI-AMEE algorithm proposed in this paper is better than that of AMEE algorithm and PPI algorithm. |
