Summary:Building model mainly refers to the three-dimensional model. It transforms the architectural drawing from two-dimensional plane graphics to three-dimensional spatial model, and further associates the information of building size, cost, progress, materials, quality, contract and management with the three-dimensional model, and forms a data-based multi-dimensional model tool for project management. It can share building information and improve the efficiency of project management. With the continuous development of building information model (BIM), the depth of its development and utilization in teaching gradually increases. The development and utilization of building information model for teachers, students and enterprises engaged in engineering teaching can promote the process of information construction industry in an all-round way. The establishment of BIM Engineering Technology Research Center provides stable technology, talents and funds for the informatization process of construction industry, and promotes the upgrading of construction industry.
