Summary:In agriculture-based countries, crop development is main source of economy generating fields and farmers depend on crop fields for survival. To yield better crop production, an agriculture monitoring system is developed to monitor and assess crop information for better yielding. We propose an agro-app based improved monitoring system for better crop production. This paper aim is to improve the crop production for better yield by developing the system with sensor stack such as soil moisture sensor and temperature sensor to sense moister and temperature of the soil in the crop fields, and water is supplied according to the sensor information, and with the help of RFID tag geo-fencing is provided to the crop fields from animals and unauthorized person's entry, if entry is there alert is given to the farmer by alarming. And also crop disease analysis is done by capturing crop leaves images with the help of camera. This processed information is uploaded to the app and appropriate suggestions are generated from the app, the corresponding information can be seen by farmer. The farmer can analyze the environmental conditions to achieve maximum crop productiveness, for the better productivity and to achieve remarkable energy, overall cost, and crop protection.
