Summary:Aimed at the problems of poor balance and low efficiency of the axle processing assembly line of a Train Wagon Axle repair workshop, this paper comprehensively uses simulation and industrial engineering methods to optimize its production line in order to improve the overall production efficiency of the workshop. First, use eM-Plant simulation software to model and simulate the workshop production line and analyze the existing problems; then, use industrial engineering methods such as human-machine analysis, "5W1H" questioning method, and ECRS principles to optimize and analyze the production line to obtain an optimized plan; finally, using eM-Plant again to simulate and verify the optimization plan. it was clarified that the balance of the workshop production line was improved, the number of operators was significantly reduced, and the daily output of the workshop was improved, thereby determining the final optimization plan.
