Summary: | Military communication systems need to transmit various types of tactical information for platforms such as fighters and warships distributed in a wide and complex battlefield environment. Many factors such as terrain occlusion, unintentional interference or intentional jamming may cause communication interruptions, and relaying is therefore a very important means of establishing a reliable communication connection. With the rapid development of UAV-related fields in recent years, relay systems utilizing UAVs have become more feasible both in terms of technology and practical applications. This paper analyzes the application scenarios, potential advantages and requirements of an UAV- based automatic relay system, designs the framework of the system, analyzes the key technologies of the system and conducts a preliminary verification through simulations. |
