Summary:This article takes the university track and field games as the research object in the actual management process. In order to solve the problems of manually collecting a large amount of information in the work of track and field games, processing the accuracy of information, and improving athletes' performance, we have researched and developed a sports event management system based on the B/S architecture. The system is suitable for information interaction among sports meeting managers, contestants and spectators and timely processing of sports meeting data. The application of the system helps to improve the quality and management efficiency of the track and field games, and basically realizes paperless operation. The main functions realized by the system in this article include the number of registered participants, the distribution of participants, pre-grouping project settings, score entry, query results announcement, information storage, news announcement release and data maintenance, etc.
