Summary: | The use of software systems in mechanical engineering in the design and evaluation of the characteristics of mechanisms, in particular chain drives is considered in this article. A brief analysis of the tool expert system for automated calculation and design of the AWS WinMachine, which is an extensive reference book and toolkit for mechanical engineering, is given. A method for calculating and analyzing chain drives using a software system is described. As a result of the analysis of chain drives, the diameters of the drive and driven sprockets and power parameters are determined, and graphic images of the designed object are obtained. Methods of mathematical statistics obtained approximating equations of dependences of the maximum torque and the force acting on the shaft on the frequency of rotation of the drive sprocket. Analysis of chain drives using software systems, increases the productivity of the development of the mechanism and reduces the dependence of the results of analytic and design work on the qualifications of employees. At the same time, a convenient graphic editor provides visibility of the data obtained and allows for faster engineering analysis of the developed object. |
