Summary:Diabetes Mellitus is a serious health problem which affects huge population in world. Age, food habits, improper eating and sleeping schedule, genetic and lack of exercise are major causes for diabetes. Diabetes leads to other major health problems like cardio vascular disease, kidney disease, lung disease etc., If diabetes is not treated properly, it could result in the failure of body organs. Proper diagnosis and treatment of diabetes is important to maintain the health of the patient. Machine learning application in healthcare sector is increasing day by day. Machine Learning helps in the extraction of useful information from raw medical data which is useful for identification of disease. In this paper, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) with varying batch size and epochs and algorithms like K-Nearest Neighbor and Support Vector Machine (SVM) are used in the prediction of Diabetes. ANN shows better performance than other two algorithms.
