Summary:In this paper, the bistatic radar cross section (BRCS) of an 1-in-diameter cylinder is estimated from numerical and experimental viewpoints. BRCS is an important factor for evaluating the system configuration in a multistatic radar. Numerical analyses of the BRCS were performed using the method of moments, and the experiment was performed in an anechoic chamber at 75 GHz. The experimental and numerical results are in good agreement and clarified the characteristics of BRCS.
