ChemInform Abstract: The Novel Alkali Sulfidoferrates K9[FeIIIS4](S2)S, (K/Rb)6[FeIII2S6], Rb8[FeIII4S10], and K7[FeII/IIIS2]5

The sulfidoferrates of title are prepared by solid state reaction of stoichiometric mixtures of Fe, S, K, and Rb2S (corundum crucible, K compounds: 900—1100°C, Rb compounds: 500—800°C, controlled heating).
