Ba1‐x(PO3)2:Eux2+ (x = 0.005‐0.040) phosphors are prepared by a solid‐state reaction of BaCO3, NH4H2PO4, and Eu2O3 in stoichiometric amounts (CO atmosphere, alundum crucible, 600 °C, 6 h).
