Summary: | Miss Patricia Kingston, born 29 July 1918, was a student at Chelsea College of
Physical Education, from 1936 to 1939. After teaching for nine years in England,
she joined the staff of Chelsea Polytechnic as Warden for Women Students, Physical
Education Tutor, Secretary of the Social and Academic Council and Organiser of
part-time release courses in physical education. Miss Kingston then taught in New
Zealand and Canada, was on the staff of Lady Mabel College of Physical Education
from 1954 to 1960 and, in 1960, was appointed Head of the Department of Physical
Education at Chelsea College of Physical Education. |
