Summary: | The Hong Kong government has issued a branch of the renewable energy generation stimulation measures to encourage the development of the domestic market. However, the panel layout design of the photovaltic (PV) system faces the challenges coming from the local construction regulation which limits the height of PV arrays. This article investigates the optimal design of the tilt angle and array pitch that features the most critical panel installation parameters to maximize the solar power generation in areas with limited space. In addition, some simulations and analyses are included in this paper. |
