Summary:A MoO 3 /Ag/MoO 3 (MAM) transparent electrode was developed which aims for realizing transparent organic light-emitting diodes (TOLEDs) with different emission colors. The performance of the transparent electrode is significantly influenced by the thickness as well as the surface morphology of the silver film in MAM structure. The thermal evaporation process of the silver layer adopted varied deposition rates to optimize the conductivity and transmittance. Blue, green and red TOLEDs with optimized MAM anode exhibited total external quantum efficiencies of 12.0%, 12.0%, and 13.4%, respectively. The ratio of the luminance emitted from the bottom side and the top side were roughly achieving 3: 1. These results demonstrated that the MAM electrode possesses high potential in fabricating efficient TOLEDs.
