Dead-beat effect of LQ optimal control with the use of time-difference comparison compensation in process system

Considerable suppression effect on peak value of manipulation variable has been obtained by using time-difference comparison compensation (TDCC) method [N. Yamamoto and H. Oouchi, 2003] in LQ optimal control in the previous annual conference SICE 2002 [M. Masuda, et al., 2002]. Successively, it is f...

Summary:Considerable suppression effect on peak value of manipulation variable has been obtained by using time-difference comparison compensation (TDCC) method [N. Yamamoto and H. Oouchi, 2003] in LQ optimal control in the previous annual conference SICE 2002 [M. Masuda, et al., 2002]. Successively, it is found in this treatise that a dead-beat control is possible also by TDCC method without any change of characteristic properties in LQ optimal control. This effect is confirmed by both of computer simulation and theoretical treatment.
