Free-standing light-emitting organic nanocomposite membranes

We report the fabrication and characterization of free-standing nanocomposite membranes incorporating monodispersed pi-conjugated-oligofluorene truxene molecules as light-emitting components. Under pulsed excitation at 355 nm the membranes show amplified spontaneous emission around 440 nm.
