Man-machine interaction in deep diagnostic systems
The design of CHECK, a multilevel system combining heuristic and deep reasoning, is discussed. Both the diagnostic and the man-machine interaction components of CHECK are briefly outlined. Summary: | The design of CHECK, a multilevel system combining heuristic and deep reasoning, is discussed. Both the diagnostic and the man-machine interaction components of CHECK are briefly outlined. The CHECK system is composed of five modules: H-CHECK, C-CHECK, EXPL, NEED, and SAILOR. The core of CHECK is C-CHECK (causal component of CHECK), the module devoted to solving diagnostic problems by using the causal knowledge. CHECK's causal networks represent pathophysiological models having as basic constituents different types of nodes connected by different types of relationships.< > |
