Summary: | In the field of Cross-Cultural Decision Making, our work is oriented towards supporting decision making process by providing a dynamic and interactive visualisation interface. The idea with this approach is that users should be able to explore a problem space using visualisation that facilitate quick perceptions and understanding. Vesta-Cosy application, developed in the frame of a research project, therefore combines paraconsistent reasoning and works on graphic semiology. We first present the currently used approaches of decision making in Vesta Cosy. Thereafter, the Vesta Cosy application is described in details, especially the different models and their connection with visual and algorithmic units. We also present the theoretical framework which we use for a specific use case scenario. This theoretical framework aims at enabling the consideration of socio-cultural factors in Decision Making. |
