An optimization model for task assignment in home health care
Assigning tasks to employee is a difficult task. Errors committed in such assignments can have consequences, such as a reduced efficiency due to absenteeism, lack of job satisfaction, etc. In this paper, we interest in a task assignment problem in home Health Care (HHC). Summary: | Assigning tasks to employee is a difficult task. Errors committed in such assignments can have consequences, such as a reduced efficiency due to absenteeism, lack of job satisfaction, etc. In this paper, we interest in a task assignment problem in home Health Care (HHC). In fact, one of the major problems in HHC is task assignment to care workers. We describe a method for scheduling tasks and balancing nurses' workload. We present the proposed approach and the associated optimization model. Finally, we discuss extension of our work. |
